Risksense consulting is the company name of Jannec Olvers. Jannec is an independent advisor / consultant on the field of Risk Management and Business / Risk Analitycs. He is capable to insert in a pragmatic way Risk management activities into business and operational activities and knows to convert risk practices into the business. Jannec uses his knowledge and experience in financing (mortgage lending, consumer finance and car finance) in combination with his skills in operational / credit risk management to obtain the necessary adaptation to come back with results.
The main idea behind the Risksense consulting is focussing on the Risks that are perceived by the business owners and give insight into their activities mitigating or controlling these Risks. As the company is aware and can accept the Risks that are being taken by the business. Making Sense of Risk management is in making Risk management Common Sense.
Jannec Olvers has worked in different fields of Risk Management, starting in Car Finance, mortgage lending, data management and consumer finance. As a result Jannec has worked in different fields and on different levels within organizations. Operational, Tactical and Strategical level within a diversity of companies.

My believe is that Risk awareness in the business is essential for risk perception, but business awareness within the risk department is crucial. Combining the knowledge of both business perception as risk perception within the organization will enhance the added value of (credit) risk significantly. As a Risk professional my main focus is on bringing the Business and the Risk department closer together. Experienced in working on the three levels of defense; Business, Risk Management and Overall Manager. Pro-active, Involved and Hands-on mentality are my key drivers.
Jannec Olvers has studied Economics & Business (focus on Behavioral Economics) and worked for Banks and Financing Companies within the position of Credit Risk Analyst, Operational Risk & Compliance, Portfolio Risk Manager and Head of Risk.
My experience as Risk Manager on all levels (operational, tactical and strategical), combines practical implementation and theoretical methodologies.
